PERCH LURE FISHING MECCA!
If you have never fished a lure before, then this is the package for you. The Ullswater Perch are wild feisty creatures, nothing like you will have encountered in other lakes. The fish are very average in size, between 8oz & 12oz. However what they lack in quality they make up for in quantity. Regular catches of over sixty fish are recorded using drop shot and cast n retrieve techniques. It is truly additive angling with a back drop second to non!

There is no fixed itinerary, even the schedule is set by mother nature herself. This fishing package is based upon pure watercraft. It's almost impossible to have a prepared plan instead we have to sense the mood of the water and working with the weather conditions. Fishing a wild water with natural fish stocks is an unpredictable sport, but one that offers a great sense of satisfaction when you get it right. I simple hate blanking (catching no fish), success hinges on good preparation in this fishing environment. Many fishing hours understanding and discovering techniques ensure that all of the possible fishing scenarios have been covered. This still does not guarantee fish and we need to work together as a team on our compact fishing platform, a ten foot wooden fishing boat.
I simply adore fishing from compact fishing platforms whilst afloat. Previously enjoying five years kayak angling (2008 to 2013), culminating in becoming the UK's No 1 ranked kayak angler in the 2013 Kayak Wars competition. There is something special about fishing unobtrusively and at one with your environment in a small boat. My boat is powered by an electric trolling motor, quiet and Eco friendly. Although this may restrict the fishing grounds an angler can cover in one day, the boats stealth benefits prove useful around wild, wary fish .
The weather ultimately dictates how and when I can safely launch, therefore all dates stated within these 'Wild Water Boat Fishing' are subject to change within twenty four hours notice of the launch date.
